Today we finished Daniel 11, learning that God is fully in control of all things. He has decreed what must take place in the end time. Therefore, we should be comforted to know that He will see His people through whatever the last things are that will happen.
Daniel has been an incredible book to study as we see how God took care of His people under the captivity in Daniel’s day. In addition, we see how God will take care of His people even in the end times.
In Genesis 42 we see how Joseph’s brothers have come to Egypt to buy grain during the great famine
which Joseph told the Pharaoh about when God gave him the interpretation of Pharaoh’s dream. Joseph disguised himself so his brothers would not recognize him. His brothers, who sold him into slavery, lied to his father and told him that he was dead, came to him to buy grain for food. He wanted to bring them to a place of remorse for what they did.
It makes no difference what situation in which we find ourselves, God is in control. He can be trusted and He will see us through any and all situations.
