Today we began what we have done for the last ten years here at First Baptist Church of Leonard: our Spring Revival. This year we have the incomparable Alex Gonzalez leading our time of teaching and preaching while Teddy King is leading our time of worship through song. They are truly a God-send when it comes to a great revival team.

This morning, Alex brought a message from Romans 5:1-11 speaking of how we are justified by faith through Jesus Christ. This evening he will be preaching the rest of Romans 5 and continuing his message from this morning. You will be able to hear all of the series of message at www.fbcleonardtx.org in the coming days.

Although Teddy’s mother passed away earlier this week, God continues to use him to bless our people through his music. His wife Cynthia is here with him today and has such a sweet spirit about her. They emphasize the presence of the Holy Spirit and invite Him to be part of our services through the songs they lead our people to sing.

Today has already been a great time of fellowship with each other and with the Word of God. I look forward to–and I am praying for–revival to come to First Baptist Church of Leonard.
